MLB: FRIDAY DFS MORNING LINEUP

Troy TulowitzkiBy Ramon Scott, @rsstreams

The Major League Baseball DFS card on Friday has a bit of a split-schedule look, as five games are slated to begin in the late afternoon, while the remaining 10 games will be contested at night. FanDuel is conducting both Early Only and All Day contest for the most part.

The projected highest-scoring affair is slated for Colorado, as the Cubs face the Rockies in a day tilt. The game total was listed by oddsmakers overnight at a shade over 10 runs. Another day game, Minnesota at the White Sox had an overnight total listed just under nine runs.

You can have one or more of the hitters to choose from, as the Rockies’ Troy Tulowitzki (pictured) and the Cubs’ Jorge Soler are our likely targets in the Mile High game. While one of our salary sleepers could also likely come from that game, as we look for Colorado’s Drew Stubbs to get the start against Travis Wood. Stubbs is 5-for-12 off of the Cubs’ left-hander.

There are weather issues to take into consideration, as well, although all of Thursday’s contests that were expecting weather issues were played to completion with some delays.

Games in Baltimore, New York, Philadelphia and Atlanta were all showing at least a 50 percent chance of showers sometime during the game.

Gio Gonzalez is the top pitcher on the night, according to oddsmakers, as the Nationals are -150 favorites over the host Phillies with a game total listed at 7. We’re opting for a less-pricier value selection on the bump tonight.

Mike Moustakas – The Royals’ Moustakas is 0-for-9 carer against Hector Santiago of the Angels.
