FRIDAY ROSTER LOCKS

STARTING PITCHER

Los Angeles DodgersClayton Kershaw – Kershaw (LAD) gets the Cubs at home, holding these particular Chicago bats to a .246 mark over 190 PAs. We have the Cubs scoring just 2.55 runs against the Dodgers’ lefty star, and Clayton reasonably come home with over 10 1/4 strikeouts by our models’ estimation. Kershaw has been far more dominant at home, whereas his few hiccups for the most part have come on the road.

POSITION PLAYERS

Chicago White SoxJose Abreu – Jose gets our top-shelf call at first tonight against Walker and the Mariners. We have the White Sox scoring 4.05 runs here in an underdog role at home. Abreu is 3-for-5 with a home run against Walker in a couple of matchups and he has been a pretty decent money maker of late, bringing back over two DK points over his projection over the last 10 outings.

New York YankeesAlex Rodriguez – Rodriguez (NYY) gets looked at here primarily because of the Yanks’ projected run total of 4.35 runs today here in Atlanta against pitcher Perez. Alex has been a fantasy loser in four-straight starters, but the Yankees are primed here for a considerable performance offensively.

Toronto Blue JaysTroy Tulowitzki – We are very pleased at Tulo’s price today and are likely to consider him a major selection with the Toronto run projection way up at a deserving 5.4 runs against lefty Boyd, of the Tigers. A lot has been made of Troy’s sub-par production since coming to Toronto, but can’t deny the team’s winning results. With his better performances this past week, we still have him on the improve in his new digs.

Detroit TigersRajai Davis – Davis is 5-for-8 against the Jays’ Dickey, and combined with Martinez, Kinser, Avila and Castellanos, these Tigers are 21-for-53 against the Jays’ specialist. Kinsler has a pair of homers against the knuckleballer.

Seattle MarinersAustin Jackson – Ajax has a strong 23-for-52 and Seattle’s Cano and Cruz also have had strong success against the White Sox’s Danks.  Jackson has three home runs off of the Chicago lefty, so we like him in the OF tonight at FD for just 2.5k. He has just two profitable performances over his last 10 outings, but we see Seattle scoring 4.35 runs in this one tonight against a familiar target.
