New York MetsJake DeGrom – Super soph DeGrom gets the nod against the lowly Phillies as our day tab, as he comes in as a strong -175 favorite with a total a full notch under 7. He struck out six at the Nats in the season-opener with just one walk.

San Diego PadresAndrew Cashner – With the Padres a considerable favorite at -160 and the game total under 6 1/2, Cashner should allow just over two runs, according to oddsmakers. He was shaky in his first start at L.A., allowing five runs, but we’re playing him at home here.

St. Louis CardinalsJhonny Peralta – The Cards’ SS carries a price tag of 2.8k on FanDuel and he has been solid to date, hitting safely in every game, including a home run on Sunday at Cincinnati. Peralta is 13-for-32 (.406) lifetime against Brewers SP Matt Garza.

St. Louis CardinalsJon Jay – Jay is a solid 8-for-13 off of Garza with three extra-base hits. The OF is 2.6k on Fanduel as he has opened the season batting .250.

St. Louis CardinalsMatt Adams – Adams has gone hitless is four of five starts, but homered on Saturday as part of a 2-for-4 day. He has owned Garza, going 7-for-9 with a homer and two doubles.

New York MetsDaniel Murphy – Murph is 7-for-20 with four doubles and a HR off of veteran Aaron Harang of the Phils. He had a SF in a pinch-hitting appearance on Sunday.

San Diego PadresDerek Norris – The SD catcher is 2.5k on FanDuel and has had three multi-hit games so far before being given his first day off on Sunday.

San Francisco GiantsAngel Pagan – The SF OF is 3.4k on FanDuel, as we look to take some offense from the hungry Giants in the home opener with the Rockies. Pagan opened the season with a 3-for-4 game, but is 4-for-20 since.

New York YankeesBrett Gardner – The Yankees’ Gardner had two hits and two RBI on Sunday night in the rout of Boston. He has hit in four of five starts so far. He is 5-for-14 against Baltimore’s Chen with two doubles and a HR, but five strikeouts.
