MLB: SUNDAY DFS ROSTER LOCKS

STARTING PITCHERS

Washington NationalsMax Scherzer – Scherzer struck out eight, allowing four hits over 7 2/3 innings on Opening Day against the Mets. His salary is 11k today on FanDuel, but he is facing a Phillies’ squad that will be hard-pressed to score more than a couple of runs.

Chicago White SoxChris Sale – Sale was scratched from his first start of the season with a foot injury and is expected to be limited to a hearty 90-95 pitches against visiting Minnesota on Sunday. Sale is salaried on FanDuel 10.6k.

POSITION PLAYERS

Los Angeles DodgersAdrian Gonzalez – Adrian slowed down from the monster series against San Diego, but has still managed to reach five times over the last two games, including three walks. He is 6-for-10 lifetime against Arizona’s Collmenter.

San Diego PadresJustin Upton – The Padres’ OF  had two hits, two RBI and scored twice yesterday in a rout of the Giants, as he has hit in all six games so far. Upton is 7-for-13 lifetime off of Jake Peavy, who almost missed this start to due a sore back.

Tampa Bay RaysEvan Longoria – Longoria has a hit in four of the first five games and has a 7-for-13 lifetime mark against Henderson Alvarez, with three HRs and six RBI.

Chicago White SoxJose Abreu – The White Sox slugger is 0-for-6 in the first two games of this series against Minnesota, but is 4-for-10 with three doubles against the Twins’ Phil Hughes.

Atlanta BravesFreddie Freeman – Freddie had a HR and 5.25 fantasy points last night against the Mets and carries a 6-for-10 mark with three doubles against Mets’ starter Bartolo Colon.

Toronto Blue JaysJose Bautista – It has been all or nothing so far for Jose, as he had a 3-for-3 night with 11 points in the series opener here at Baltimore, but is a combined 0-for-15 over the other four games so far this season. Jose has four extra-base hits and five RBI in 28 at-bats against Chris Tillman of the O’s.
