STARTING PITCHERS

San Diego Padres LogoTyson Ross – The Padres were listed as a big +145 underdog overnight at the Dodgers. However, LA’s Yasiel Puig is 3-for-14, Andre Ethier is 4-for-16, Adrian Gonzalez is 4-for-18, A.J. Ellis is 1-for-11 and Howie Kendrick is 1-for-10 lifetime BvP against Ross. Tyson had two games last year against LAD, which resulted in 15 IP, 3 ER and 17 Ks. However, the Dodgers won both games , as Ross received no run support. He is 8.8k today at FanDuel.

POSITION PLAYERS

Atlanta Braves LogoFreddie Freeman – Freddie is 9-of-15 career off of Miami’s Latos with three 2b and six RBI. Freeman opened the season with a 1-for-4 last night.

San Diego Padres LogoJustin Upton – The Padres’ OF has crushed the Dodgers’ Grienke to the tune of 7-for-14 with two 2b and a HR, along with four BB. Justin was 1-for-4 in the opener.

Chicago Cubs LogoStarlin Castro – The Cubs’ SS is 10-for-30 with three doubles against STL P Lynn. Castro was 1-for-4 on opening night, as Chicago was blanked at home by the the Cards.

Arizona Diamondbacks LogoPaul Goldschmidt  – Just OK numbers for Goldy against Vogelsong (6-for-24 with three RBI), but we like him in a bounce-back after a 1-for-4 last night, which included a walk.

Seattle Mariners LogoRobinson Cano – Robby is 11-for-38 against Wilson on a card with not a lot of great options here at 2B. Cano drove in a run with a hit in four trips last night.

Seattle Mariners LogoNelson Cruz – Cruz went 0-for-4 in the opener, but he mashes LHPs. He is 4-for-10 with a double and a homer lifetime against Wilson.
