With 10 games on the Friday night NBA card, value and flexibility will allow for a wide array of lineup possibilities, leaving fantasy players several different strategy options in tournaments and cash games.
LaMarcus Aldridge is our top higher-tiered recommendation against the Lakers, although there is consideration for a potential blowout with the Trail Blazers favored by 10 points.
Still, Portland is expected to score around 105 points, so for just 9.3k on FanDuel, we are predicting that LMA can put up over 40 fantasy points, as he continues to be one of the most consistent game-in-game-out performers, especially in this price range.
And given the matchup against Ryan Kelly and Los Angeles, we could even see reasonable upside, although the tournament options may be a bit different on a heavy night like tonight.
Aldridge anchors most of our lineups, which will likely include combinations of a few value selections coupled with the following players:
Nikola Vucevic – Vuch is probably going to be our center on FanDuel on this night. He is most likely the first click of any position. With Minnesota virtually depleted, especially in the front court, he should keep his consistent run of the last three games going and put up nearly 40 fantasy points.
Victor Oladipo – We think the Orlando-Minnesota game is a game of the young guns. There shouldn’t be much consideration on defense and that has seemed to suit Orlando well over the final weeks of the season when matchup against equal or lesser quality opponents. We like Ola to put up around 35 fantasy on Friday night, as he has amassed 30 or more FPs in seven of his last eight games.
Andrew Wiggins – Andrew is playing terrific right now offensively and even with the expected return of Kevin Martin to the MIN lineup, there are still several missing pieces and Wiggins will be getting off plenty of shots. He has pretty much reached or exceeded projection in six-straight games and had over 40 fantasy points two nights ago at home vs. TOR.
Deron Williams – Deron has been crushing it, as the Nets have been a fantasy goldmine. For Deron’s price of just 6.6k on FanDuel and the newly-found up tempo of the Nets, Williams has enjoyed an awesome run of beating projections in six of the last seven games, including three games where he really exceeded his expectation. The matchup against the Raptors was the highest overnight betting total at 207.
