If you don’t think it will be a necessarily overwhelming day for top stars Russell Westbrook or LeBron James, then we have a core of stars to help build your lineups on Sunday.
John Wall – With no Patrick Beverley defending for HOU, Wall should have a huge game and could amass nearly 45 fantasy points. He has had just two disappointing outings over his last 12 starts.
James Harden – It what should be a back-and-forth battle between the two stars – Harden and Wall – we like James to get at least 50 fantasy points against the Wizards. Over his last three outings, he has averaged over 55 FPs. Earlier this season against Washington, he put up a 34-point game.
Mike Conley (pictured) – In his three games against SA this year, he had 30 points on Dec. 30, with six assists and seven rebounds for 45.4 FPs. On Dec. 17, he had 14 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds for 39.6 FPs, while on Dec. 5 he had 23 points, 10 assists for 41.2 FPs. He is averaging over 42 fantasy points a game against SA this season. At only 5.8k, Conley is our type of value.
Josh Smith – Because of the injury situation on Houston, it looks like he will have to be in our lineup at 5.7k. Probably get 40 minutes, after playing 39 against MIN, where he put 43 FPs.
George Hill – Hill is so hot right now, you must ride with him again. He scored 24 points last game against the Bucks and has disappointed only once in the last nine games.
We prefer Harden as a top play over Anthony Davis because he is cheaper and there is better value overall at PF. Also, NO could blow out MIN and Davis has been hampered by a shoulder ailment.
