NBA: Sunday DFS Resourceful Plays

Sunday NBA DFS Resourceful Plays from…

Houston Rockets LogoTrevor Ariza – We are going to want a few pieces in the high-scoring matchup between the Rockets and Thunder if you’re playing the all day card. Ariza gives us a good chance for over 30 fantasy points and his consistency has been money, as he has failed to meet or surpass expectations in just one of the last 10 games.

Oklahoma City Thunder LogoEnes Kanter – The Thunder C is now up to 7.7k at FanDuel, but who are we to argue as much as he did for us last month. He now has come into April with arguably his two best fantasy performances dating back to January. He has turned into a scoring machine.

Oklahoma City Thunder LogoDion Waiters – In the high-scoring game of the day, Waiters certainly could be a play. His salary is down to 4.5k as he is coming off a slight foot injury. We are looking for a return to mid-March form as we are expecting 25 FPs from Waiters today. He is in the all day slate, as the Houston-OKC game in the national television opener.

San Antonio Spurs LogoBoris Diaw – The Spurs’ PF gets increased usage without C Tiago Splitter, who is OUT with a calf injury. We’re looking for Diaw to get somewhere over 20 fantasy points, which isn’t out of the norm on the tough-to-roster Spurs. Here, however, we actually get the chance tab someone other than Kawhi.

San Antonio Spurs LogoAron Baynes – With Splitter out of the lineup, the Spurs’ Baynes is an unavoidable value selection in the big game against the Warriors tonight. He has scored 18 points in each of the last two games. When he plays an significant minutes, he always makes his salary and then some.

Chicago Bulls LogoJimmy Butler – Jimmy’s price goes down $200 for this one, so we can take another flier, as he was very consistent for a four-game stretch of increased fantasy production before falling considerably short on Friday night vs DET.

Cleveland Cavaliers LogoJ.R. Smith – The Cleveland SG should approach 25 fantasy points on Sunday afternoon vs. CHI. He is currently 5.7k on FanDuel. He has made at least 25 FPs in three of his last five and we like the Cavs’ shooting guards against the Bulls.

Cleveland Cavaliers LogoIman Shumpert – We also would have an endorsement on Shump, who is up $200 to 4.3k on FanDuel. He rarely misses his modest projections and with Cleveland expected to score over 100 points, we think Iman can get us at least 20 FPs after putting up 28 last game at home vs. MIA.

Los Angeles Clippers LogoJ.J. Reddick – Reddick rarely disappoints and has to be considered at just 6.4k at FanDuel. The Clippers are expected to approach 110 points again tonight against the Lakers after scoring 107 last night at Denver. Reddick has had 33 fantasy points in each of the last two games, putting up 25 points in both.

Los Angeles Lakers LogoJordan Clarkson – Keep riding Jordan as he has put up at least 40 fantasy points in three-straight games. He also has made expectation in all but three of his last 17 games. Clarkson’s price has also reached it’s plateau at 7.7k.

Los Angeles Lakers LogoWesley Johnson – The Lakers’ SF has smashed his expectations in three of the last four games. He has even seen a salary increase of $300 heading into this one, so this is a good value play, as the Clippers are known to struggle against the wings.

Philadelphia 76ers LogoIsh Smith – At a crummy New York team, we have to continue to look at Ish, who has failed to make projection in just two of his last 16 games. His salary is at the high-water mark of 6.4k, but for good reason, as Ish plays 30 minutes or more.
