Plenty of regular points and fantasy sports are expected to be scored on Sunday, as the NBA card is split with three mid-day games, followed by a six-game night card. Some may combine the card and play an All Day contest on FanDuel.
What ever the case may be, it won’t be hard to find teams that are expected to score over 100 points on Sunday, including a pair of teams – Denver and Dallas – that are expected to well over 110 points, according to power ratings.
Denver’s situation seemed more certain the Mavs’ plans on Sunday night, as the Nuggets’ matchup with the ailing Kings is a matchup of also-rans. The Nuggets’ Danilo Gallinari is coming off a monster fantasy game of nearly 65 points, while guard Ty Lawson put up 50 in the same game against the Mavs.
For the Mavericks, however, their situation with the Lakers seemed less stable, as some resting of players has begun with their playoff spot locked. L.A. could actually be the beneficiary on this one, especially Jordan Clarkson, who has been a fantasy money-maker for several weeks as his price his climbed accordingly.
San Antonio was expected to put up over 105, as well, but certainly plenty of risks surround rostering Spurs’ players. For Houston, Dwight Howard has been a strong fantasy producer right away upon his return, but he may take his first rest on Sunday.
The main attractions for playoff implications were Oklahoma City at Indiana and New Orleans at Houston.
All fantasy basketball play for should be carefully considered on Sunday, as personnel situations are shaky.
Cleveland’s LeBron James and Kyrie Irving are listed as out and questionable, respectively, against Boston on Sunday, while Charlotte’s Al Jefferson is OUT on Sunday with a knee injury.
Bismack Biyomo – Bismack still grades out at high value at just 4.5k on FanDuel. He has actually fallen just short of projection the last two times out since his great run started, but against the Pistons we might be able to ground out one more profitable game out of him.
Omri Casspi – The Kings front-court has been depleted and Casspi gets usually 30 minutes or more now. This game should be a high-scoring game, as oddsmakers list the overnight total at 216, with Sacramento expected to score over 100 points.
Michael Carter-Williams (pictured) – The Bucks’ guard has really turned up the fantasy production over the last five games with outputs of 34, 32, 33, 44 and 36. He scored 30 points on 22 field goal attempts against the Cavs last Wednesday.
C.J. Miles – At just 4.6k on FanDuel, Miles can be expected to put up around 20 fantasy points, but has also showed 30-point upside in three of the last eights games. His only clunker over that period was due to an ankle injury suffered in the first quarter in the game against the Nets.
Aron Baynes – We’re back on Baynes, as his value has slide as his projection has gone up, but now the Spurs are without Tiago Splitter and Matt Bonner in the front court and Baynes is just 4.1k on FanDuel.
