With just a two-game nationally televised slate on tap for Thursday night, margins in DFS basketball scores could be determined by the slightest of statistics.
Still, if hoop is your thing, a light equity in some tournaments might be enough to keep you interested in a quirky twin bill.
Miami hosts Chicago in what is a closely rated contest, but the total was just 191 1/2 overnight, compared to the night cap – Portland at Golden State – which has a total of 207, but also the probability of a blowout, as the Warriors were up to 9 1/2-point favorites overnight.
DFSers continue to deliberate the late-season game plan of the top-seeded Warriors, but Golden State seemingly continues to play very strong in most instances.
Derrick Rose returned to action on Wednesday night, scoring nine points on 3-of-9 shooting. He is scheduled to rest on the back-end tonight on the road at the Heat.
Miami was a 1 1/2-point favorite overnight, so that could keep several of the key players relevant despite the discrepancy in the game totals.
Aaron Brooks would get the big bump and might be hard to pass up as you are apt to determine which positions will have the value spots. Also at PG, Miami’s Goran Dragic is 6.6k on FanDuel and was fantastic last time out against Charlotte, scoring 28 points.
Dwayne Wade (pictured) will have the heavy usage, of course, in this critical game. Jimmy Butler also is a key figure at 8.4k on FanDuel, as his consistency should be reached. Tyler Johnson is the longshot at min salary.
Luol Deng is the SF with heavy minutes expected, as this crucial game is close to the wire. The Heat’s James Ennis is another deep reach value try at 3.8k at FanDuel.
Pau Gasol is an ultimate fantasy producer at PF, while Bogut can be considered tonight in a game that suits his usual modest compliment of minutes when the Warriors are on the familiar comfortable end of a lead.
