Tuesday’s DFS Resourceful Plays from RosterResource.com…
Kawhi Leonard – Kawhi will take advantage of Miami’s depleted front court. His consistency and minutes are so solid for your cash game and he has increased his FGA% recently. The position is so weak that he makes most every starting lineup. His price is relatively comparable at both major sites.
Goran Dragic – This looks like the mid-tier choice at FanDuel at 6.5k, although he is a little pricier at DK at 6.9k. Goran gets slight drop in salary at FD, so we like him to get 30 FPs for a very nice option here. Also gets production uptick because of several injuries at other positions and he will be a 35-40 minute player.
Brook Lopez – With the Nets giving BroLo free reign and 40 minutes, he has turned into the fantasy monster of the late season. IND is strong against the center position and his price has now reach 8.2k on FanDuel and 7.8k at DK. The downside here is the pace of game. Still, Brook scored 30 against the Lakers on Sunday with 11 rebounds for over more than 50 fantasy.
George Hill – Hill faces a BKN squad that doesn’t defend PGs very well. Last time against the Nets, he nearly had 30 fantasy. He has taken less shots over the last couple of games despite playing the same minutes. He is a little more steep of a price at DK at 7.5k, but he has consistently been getting well over 25 fantasy points over the past three weeks. This still is pretty much the high-water mark for Hill’s salary the entire season.
C.J. Miles – Miles relies on his inconsistent shooting, so the caution is always there. However, his last two games have been stellar, as he has cranked it up for over 30 fantasy in each of the last two games. He is quite a bit more expensive at DK with a 5.2k price tag, but only 4.6k at FanDuel, which is actually an increase of $300 over last out. With Rodney Stuckey questionable overnight, we will keep a look out for C.J. to get over 20 fantasy points.
Shelvin Mack – Everyone is going to easily make Mack their top value play, it would seem. However, there are so many good point guard options. Mack is a bottom of the barrel likely starter, as Atlanta looks to rest a number of players on Tuesday at DET. Shelvin does most of his fantasy scoring shoveling passes, but he did have a three-game double-digit scoring streak when seeing near starters’ minutes during the Hawks’ extended road trip earlier this month.
John Jenkins – Cheap shooting guard option given the Hawks’ personnel situation. John had a terrific night playing 33 minutes at Charlotte on Saturday as the Hawks went with their makeshift lineup. Jenkins continued to get open and hit his shot 6-of-12 times, including a trey.
Kent Bazemore – Baze is another beneficiary of the Hawks’ sitting the regs. Baze is 4.6k at FanDuel, but only 4.2k at DK. He always seemingly makes his projection when given the allotted minutes, which should happen tonight given the situation.
Thabo Sefolosha – A 4x recommendtion at SG, as Thabo needs just over 15 points to bring a profit. He had nearly 18 last night in just 12 minutes and will be likely at plus-20 minute player tonight with Atlanta’s short bench.
Reggie Jackson – Reggie’s price has gone up over 2k this month alone. Matched up against Shelvin Mack, he should return 40 fantasy, as he has since Monroe went down. Jax is a little pricier over at DK at 8.7k., but this streak has been phenomenal, smashing projections for the most part for seven-straight despite despite the steep 2k increase in price in just two weeks.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – With ATL 23rd against shooting guards, we figure all those backups will have a hard time guarding Caldwell-Pope. Still, KCP has been ice cold from the field of late. He is far more expensive at DK at 5.9k, but has been better at home and is getting plenty of minutes.
