LIVE DRAFT ROSTER GRID:
We start with a 162-game statistical projection for approximately 1000 players, based on several factors (’14 performance, 3-5 year trend, age, upside, decline rate, ball park, etc.).
Once we factor in our projected playing time, the “actual” projection is created. The players are then ranked accordingly.
Like all sites, we have some aggressive projections on certain players and conservative projections on others. Having said that, we feel our projections are fair, accurate, and provide an excellent outlook on the player and his projected role.
Rankings are available for 5×5 Traditional Rotisserie Scoring, 4X4 Rotisserie Scoring (OBP-HR-RBI-SB / W-SV-ERA-WHIP), 6X6 Rotisserie Scoring (AVG-R-HR-RBI-SB-OBP / W-K-SV-HLD-ERA-WHIP), Points League Scoring (Includes Custom Point Totals) and Keeper/Dynasty Rankings.
They are formatted for print, so we can only show a certain number of columns. To view the AL/NL Only Rankings, as well as the other scoring formats we offer, you will need to unhide columns on each of the Positional Rankings tabs. If you don’t know how to unhide columns or are having trouble, please send us an email and we will gladly assist you.
DRAFT DAY SOFTWARE FILE
Added to the Draft Board in today’s update is a Team Roster Grid & Quick Links to other Draft Software Features. To have the Draft Board recognize the players drafted to your team in the new Roster Grid, make sure to enter your team name at the top of the draft board and it will automatically locate players selected to your team during the draft and fill them in.
Added additional features to the Roto Calculator including a feature that tracks how far ahead/behind each team is from the 2014 1st Place benchmark in each category.
Added a Positional Eligibility Grid that updates each players’ eligible positions based on the settings you enter on the Custom League Settings page.
NEW FEATURE: POSITION ELIGIBILITY SETTINGS – Customize your league even deeper with our new Position Eligibility settings. Just enter the number of games played in 2014 that it would take for a player to be eligible at that position for the 2015 season. Ranges anywhere from 1 game to 162 games.
NEW FEATURE: AL/NL ONLY CAPABILITY – Enter your leagues settings on the Custom Settings tab and you’ll see it go to work. If you select “AL Only”, for example, all NL players will be removed from the Draft Board and Positional Rankings.
NEW FEATURE: DRAFT TAGS – Custom player tag options have been added to column D of the Draft Board, including OWN (You own the player), TARGET (You want the player), SLEEPER (Player to keep an eye on), BUST (Player to Stay away from) and FARM (Minor league Prospect you’re interested in). Not only will these show up on your Draft Board, they will tag each player inside the positional rankings, as well.
NEW FEATURE: DRAFT TARGET BOARD – Custom draft targets have also been added to the Draft Board. Target as many players as you like before the draft by clicking “Target” in the drop-down box for each player in Column D. “Draft Targets” will be listed in order of their rank and will be removed from the Target Board as soon as they are picked and another target will fill the empty slot. Maximum of four “Targets” can be displayed at a time.
Added INF, CI, MI, LF, CF, RF, UTIL and P columns to the Roster Grid in the Draft Board.
